Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about VueJobs — how it works, who it's for, and how to get the most out of it.

About the platform

VueJobs is a dedicated job board for Vue.js and Nuxt.js developers. We aggregate full-time developer job listings from top hiring platforms every day and display only the roles that require Vue or Nuxt as a core skill — making your job search faster and more focused. No noise, no irrelevant listings, just Vue.

Our crawler runs daily to pull the latest Vue.js and Nuxt.js job postings from multiple sources including LinkedIn, Indeed, RemoteOK, WeWorkRemotely, and other tech-focused job platforms. Most listings are added within 24 hours of being posted on the source site.

Yes, completely. Browsing and applying to jobs on VueJobs is always free for developers. We generate revenue through sponsored job listings and display advertising, which allows us to keep the platform free for job seekers.

No. VueJobs is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Vue.js core team, Evan You, or the official Vue.js organisation. We are a community-run job board that loves the Vue ecosystem.

Job listings

VueJobs lists both remote and on-site full-time Vue developer roles. You can filter listings by work type — fully remote, hybrid, or office-based — as well as by location and experience level to find exactly what suits you.

Most Vue.js developer roles on our board require proficiency in Vue 3, the Composition API, and TypeScript. Many also require experience with Nuxt.js, Pinia or Vuex for state management, Vite, REST APIs, and Git. Senior roles may additionally require SSR architecture experience, performance optimisation skills, and team leadership.

Vue.js is the frontend JavaScript framework, while Nuxt.js is a meta-framework built on top of Vue that adds server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), file-based routing, and a full-stack deployment model. Many job listings require both. Nuxt-specific roles tend to focus more on backend integration, SEO-driven architecture, and Node.js or Nitro server knowledge.

Salaries vary significantly by location and experience. In the United States, mid-level Vue developers typically earn between $90,000 and $130,000 per year, while senior Vue engineers can command $140,000–$180,000 or more. Remote roles from European companies often range between €60,000 and €100,000 depending on country and seniority.

You can subscribe to our email job alerts using the newsletter form in the footer. Enter your email and we'll notify you as soon as new matching Vue or Nuxt roles are added. We send alerts daily or weekly — your choice.

For employers

Yes. Employers and hiring managers can submit a Vue or Nuxt developer job directly to our board. Sponsored listings receive priority placement and are featured at the top of relevant search results, making them significantly more visible to active Vue developers.

We accept full-time Vue.js and Nuxt.js developer roles across all seniority levels — junior, mid-level, senior, staff, and principal engineer positions. Roles must require Vue.js or Nuxt.js as a core skill, not just as a minor mention. Purely freelance or contract roles are not currently supported.
